On the Job at LBCC

Monte Carlo Night

Monte Carlo Night, a fundraiser hosted by the Linn Benton Alumni Association in LBCC's Athletic Center on Saturday, October 12, 2024, seated 120 guests who played a variety of games, including craps, blackjack and poker.  Hi, my name is Alisha. I am currently a student at Linn-Benton Community College and dual enrolled at Oregon State University. I am a proud mother of an adult daughter and an energetic 2-year-old grandson. As a member of LBCC’s Student Leadership Council, I enjoy planning events that bring students together and create an engaging campus environment. Volunteering on campus and throughout the community is a huge part of my college journey, and I find that each experience offers a new perspective, many of which I love capturing through photos—preserving the meaningful moments that reflect the spirit of LBCC.I will be graduating winter term from LBCC and then will continue to OSU to receive my bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in human services.  My three goals for this class are: to learn how to use a camera in more detail, to become less anxious when approaching and engaging with people while taking photos, to have some of my pictures posted in commuter and to have f...
