Jenny Lens

The Screamers on a park bench, photographed by Jenny Lens in 1977, embodying the raw spirit of LA's punk scene. This is one of my favorites of her photos because captures the rebellious essence of the punk movement.

Blondie, photographed by Jenny Lens in 1977, during the rise of punk and new wave in New York City. Debbie Harry's cool, confident presence in this image reflects the band's unique blend of punk attitude and pop sensibility. I love this photo because it highlights Blondie's pivotal role in shaping the sound and style of the late '70s music scene.

Hi, my name is Alisha. I am currently a student at Linn-Benton Community College and dual enrolled at Oregon State University. I am a proud mother of an adult daughter and an energetic 2-year-old grandson. As a member of LBCC’s Student Leadership Council, I enjoy planning events that bring students together and create an engaging campus environment. Volunteering on campus and throughout the community is a huge part of my college journey, and I find that each experience offers a new perspective, many of which I love capturing through photos—preserving the meaningful moments that reflect the spirit of LBCC.I will be graduating winter term from LBCC and then will continue to OSU to receive my bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in human services.  My three goals for this class are: to learn how to use a camera in more detail, to become less anxious when approaching and engaging with people while taking photos, to have some of my pictures posted in commuter and to have f...
